The club's social media team posted a heartwarming video of Riquelme's reaction to being given the award.

After being presented with the trophy, a stunned Riquelme said: "You are teasing me. Seriously? I can't believe it. Is this serious?

"This is very special for me because I have been fighting for a long time to be able to play here, at Atletico Madrid, the club of my life.
